Our story
Selleria Gianoli was founded in Pavia in 1967. The founder, Luigi Gianoli, learned the art of saddlery and inherited the trade from his father Cesare, an already established saddler from Pavia specializing in the creation of harnesses and tack for horses.
Initially, artisan production focused on leather items for horses, both for agricultural work and for riding. Later, saddles and harnesses were joined by the production of custom-made accessories for knights, female riders and hunters. The excellence of the quality achieved led Selleria Gianoli to acquire important commissions also from the Italian Army, such as supplies for Cavalry and Lancers squadrons.
